2nd Tempt Destiny Billboard
The 2nd Tempt Destiny™ billboard was displayed at five different locations in New Jersey from August, 1990 - February, 1991. During the playoffs, the message was changed to "GO GIANTS" prior to their Super Bowl XXV victory.
The Unfinished Painting Concept - There is a reason why the Tempt Destiny billboard paintings are displayed unfinished (outlined fuzzy and transparent football). The tradition is only after the team depicted wins the SB (cause) can the painting be completed by having the football painted silver (effect) to represent the trophy won.
